Every Rotarian, Every Year Club
Together, these awards and recognitions affirm a Rotary year defined by purposeful leadership, committed teamwork, strong club administration, generous Foundation support, and service projects that created meaningful impact across communities.
The club earned Top 1 Best Project for Community Economic Development for “Buy Local; Build Futures: The Sitio Tuli Produce Project,” a project that highlighted the importance of empowering local communities and supporting livelihood-driven initiatives. This recognition is significant because it reflects Rotary’s role not only in giving assistance, but in helping communities build capacity, dignity, and opportunity.
RCCC also received Top 2 Best Project for Disease Prevention and Treatment for “Breath Safe, Free Pneumonia Vaccination,” a project that brought health protection closer to the people. In a time when preventive healthcare remains essential, this award reminds us that Rotary’s service can directly protect lives, reduce health risks, and provide access to care for those who need it most.
The club’s “Light for Peace: Lighting the Path to Peace and Safety” was recognized as Top 3 Best Project for Peace and Conflict Prevention. More than providing light, this project symbolized safety, hope, and peace in the community. It showed that peacebuilding does not always begin with grand declarations; sometimes, it begins with simple but meaningful interventions that make people feel seen, safe, and protected.
RCCC’s Heartwork Village was also recognized as Top 4 Best Legacy Project, a distinction that speaks to the club’s long-term vision. Legacy projects are important because they continue to carry the name and purpose of Rotary beyond a single event or term. They become visible reminders that service, when done with sincerity and continuity, can leave a lasting mark in the lives of communities.
The club also received major service recognitions, including Top 1 in Vocational Service, Top 2 in International Service, and Top 3 in Community Service. These honors reflect the club’s balanced commitment to Rotary’s avenues of service — from using professions and skills for the common good, to building meaningful partnerships beyond local borders, to responding to the needs of communities close to home.
The club bulletin, HAMAKA, also brought pride to RCCC with multiple recognitions: Top 2 Outstanding Bulletin Award for Best Editorial, Top 3 for Most Meaningful Cover, and Top 4 for Best Club Bulletin. These awards affirm the importance of documentation, storytelling, and public image in Rotary. Every project deserves to be remembered, every act of service deserves to be shared, and every story of hope deserves to inspire others.
RCCC was also honored with several special awards, including Iconic Rotary Marker: Silver Donor, EREY Club, 100% Giving Club, Intercity Best Video Presentation, and Best Flagship Project. These recognitions show that the club remained active not only in project implementation, but also in strengthening The Rotary Foundation, promoting Rotary’s public image, and contributing to district-wide initiatives.
One of the highest points of the recognition was the club’s distinction as Diamond Most Outstanding Club in the Medium Category. Alongside this, Pres. Maricar was recognized as Diamond Most Outstanding President, and the club also received Diamond Most Outstanding Secretary in the Medium Category. These awards represent excellence in leadership, administration, service delivery, member engagement, documentation, and overall club performance.
The club also celebrates the individual recognitions received by members and supporters who continued to strengthen Rotary’s mission through their generosity and commitment to The Rotary Foundation. Lady Maryselle Uy Olivan was recognized as Continuing Arch Klumph – Chair’s Circle and as a Polio Plus Donor. PP Jonathan Librada received Paul Harris Fellow +2 recognition. SIP Rosalie Laz received Paul Harris Fellow +1 recognition. HWP Maricar S. Suarez was recognized as a Paul Harris Fellow and Polio Plus Donor. PP Barbara C. Arenas and PP Gunter Manlangit Alipon were recognized as Sustaining Members.
These recognitions carry deep significance in Rotary because they represent support for causes that go beyond one club and one community. Contributions to The Rotary Foundation help make possible life-changing projects around the world — from disease prevention and maternal care to education, clean water, peacebuilding, and the global fight to end polio.
RCCC also received Certificates of Recognition for various club projects and initiatives, including Peacebuilding and Conflict Resolution, Basic Education and Literacy, Disease Prevention and Treatment, Public Image, Club Administration, Community Economic Development, Protecting the Environment, Water Sanitation and Hygiene, District Local Relations, International Service, Membership Initiatives, and TRF EREY Club recognition. These certificates show how the club’s service reached across multiple areas of focus, touching different sectors and responding to different needs.
Behind every recognition is a story of preparation, coordination, sacrifice, and teamwork. Behind every project are members who gave their time, partners who shared their resources, donors who believed in the cause, and beneficiaries whose lives gave meaning to the work.
These awards are the fruit of Pres. Maricar’s labor, but they are also the result of a united Rotary family. They belong to every member who showed up, every officer who worked behind the scenes, every partner who extended support, and every person who believed that service can be organized, purposeful, and transformative.
The Rotary Club of Cabuyao Circle’s achievements remind us that excellence in Rotary is not measured only by the number of awards received. It is measured by the sincerity of service, the impact created in communities, the relationships built along the way, and the willingness to continue serving even when the work is difficult.
This milestone is both a celebration and a challenge.
It is a celebration of what has been accomplished through leadership, dedication, and teamwork. It is also a challenge to continue raising the standard of service, to build on the gains of the past year, and to carry forward the same heart, discipline, and commitment in the years ahead.
As RCCC looks back on this meaningful Rotary year, one truth stands clear: when Rotarians come together with purpose, compassion, and faith, service becomes more than an activity. It becomes a legacy.
Congratulations to HWP Maricar S. Suarez and to the entire Rotary Club of Cabuyao Circle.
May these recognitions continue to inspire the club to serve with greater passion, stronger unity, and deeper commitment to Rotary’s enduring call of Service Above Self.
