RCCC Holds “YAKAP” ng Pagkalinga Outreach for YAKAP Registrants at Global Medical Center of Laguna
On March 27, 2026, the Rotary Club of Cabuyao Circle conducted “YAKAP” ng Pagkalinga, an outreach initiative held from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM at Global Medical Center of Laguna. The project was organized to provide food packs for registrants of the YAKAP program, turning a day of health-related activity into a more caring and compassionate community experience.
Through this initiative, RCCC extended simple but meaningful support to individuals and families present for the program. By preparing and distributing food packs, the club helped ease the day for registrants and reaffirmed the value of practical service delivered with dignity, warmth, and concern for others.
More than a feeding support activity, “YAKAP” ng Pagkalinga reflected the spirit of community care that Rotary stands for. It recognized that acts of service do not always have to be large in scale to create impact. A prepared meal, a kind gesture, and a visible presence of support can make a meaningful difference in the lives of people navigating health concerns and personal challenges.
The project also highlighted the importance of collaboration between civic organizations and institutions that serve the public. By bringing this outreach to Global Medical Center of Laguna, RCCC was able to connect its service mission with an environment where compassion and care are already central to the work being done.
With “YAKAP” ng Pagkalinga, the Rotary Club of Cabuyao Circle once again demonstrated its commitment to service above self by responding to a real and immediate need with empathy and action. The project served as a reminder that when communities come together to care for people in practical ways, even a simple food pack can carry comfort, encouragement, and hope.
