Service That Resonates: AG Jonathan Librada Receives PNP Recognition Medal
The Rotary Club of Cabuyao Circle proudly recognizes PLT Jonathan Endaya Librada, a valued member of RCCC and the current Assistant Governor of Rotary District 3820, for receiving the Medalya ng Pagkilala (PNP Recognition Medal) together with his fellow personnel for their role in the successful conduct of “Handog Pandinig: So, The World May Hear Project.”
The recognition was conferred for the team’s exemplary service during the February 18, 2026 outreach in Barangay Sto. Domingo, Batangas City, Batangas, where 50 hearing aids were distributed to beneficiaries with hearing impairment. The award honored the dedication, professionalism, and effective performance of the team members from R-PSB, RMFB4A, whose work helped address an important community health and inclusivity need.
For RCCC, this recognition carries significance beyond the honor itself. It reflects the kind of leadership that Rotary values most: leadership expressed through direct service, practical compassion, and meaningful collaboration. It affirms that service is not only something discussed in meetings or planned in project documents, but something proven on the ground where lives are tangibly improved.
Jonathan Librada’s recognition is especially meaningful because it sits at the intersection of public service and Rotary service. As a law enforcement officer, he is part of a profession defined by duty, discipline, and responsibility to the public. As a Rotarian and Assistant Governor, he also carries the responsibility of helping strengthen club leadership, encourage partnerships, and promote service that responds to real community needs. In this sense, the recognition is not only a personal commendation. It is also a reflection of the values he represents in both spheres.
The project itself underscores a form of service that resonates strongly with Rotary’s humanitarian mission. Hearing assistance is not merely a medical intervention. It is also a matter of dignity, access, and inclusion. When individuals with hearing impairment receive assistive devices, the benefit reaches beyond health alone. It can improve communication, participation in daily life, confidence, and connection to family and community. That is what makes the outcome of this initiative especially meaningful.
This is why Jonathan’s recognition is relevant to the club. RCCC is a service organization built on the belief that committed people, working together across institutions and sectors, can create measurable good. The success of this outreach demonstrates exactly that principle. It shows how coordinated action among public servants, civic-minded leaders, and partner institutions can produce results that are both compassionate and concrete.
It also highlights an important truth about Rotary leadership: credibility matters. A club becomes stronger when its members are trusted not only within Rotary circles, but also in the wider community. A member who is recognized for disciplined public service and meaningful humanitarian impact brings added strength to the club’s identity, partnerships, and mission. Jonathan Librada’s recognition reflects that kind of credibility.
For the Rotary Club of Cabuyao Circle, this moment is a source of pride. It affirms that one of its members is helping demonstrate what service looks like when professionalism, compassion, and action come together. It also reminds the club that its members can make a difference not only through Rotary-led initiatives, but also through the excellence and integrity they bring to their respective fields of work.
Most of all, this recognition points to something larger than an award. It points to a model of service rooted in teamwork, humility, and real human impact. In a time when public recognition can sometimes feel ceremonial, this one stands on a concrete result: lives were improved, needs were met, and a community experienced the benefit of coordinated care.
The Rotary Club of Cabuyao Circle extends its warm congratulations to Assistant Governor Jonathan Endaya Librada and his fellow awardees. Their recognition brings honor not only to their unit, but also inspiration to the communities they serve and pride to the club they represent.
